From the Grandmother of Alan Aycock (Robby Phelps sister) This is a request of prayer for Alan Aycock who was born with cystic fibrosis. He is now in his mid to late twentys, has survived 2 kidney transplants (same kidney), lost an eye to diabetes and has had a double lung transplant. This prayer request was posted to Tabitha and Troy, (Saturday evening) will you please have your church praying for Alan. I'm sure Deb and Rob have seen it on FB. He is experiencing AGGRESSIVE lung rejection and must go to Duke Mon AM to begin treatment that will KILL his immune system for 1-2 years. That will be a long time to endure such a lifestyle but with God's help, we'll make it. Of course, there are always God's miracles, presence, and love. Thanks!

"For the last 15 years my lungs have given me an unbelievable second chance that I'm grateful for but I got not good results from the biopsy they did this week. There is a "very, very aggressive" form of rejection I'll be dealing with starting Monday. I'll fight the good fight, like always, but would really appreciate your prayers as this will be a tough fight."

I need prayers to help me find a job in Southport and housing. I had to leave home with just my dog because of abusive spouse. Staying with local Christian friends. Please pray for me for Friday as a good outcome because I am going to court for assault on a female against my spouse. He got SSA for social disablities that I am sure is close to being bi-polar.

Also any form of help would be appreciated,
even dog food.

Please pray for me to overcome my past hurts and pains, for my addictions to stop in their tracks before they grow strong, and for me to be able to see God in my life everyday and have an amazing relationship with him. Please pray for my husband to find a job or to realize that God has other plans for him right now. I realize that it will be hard financially but we have done it before and God always provides. I just pray that he realizes this and doesn't allow it to become a detour in his life.

Thank you for keeping me in prayer. After 2 months of tons of paperwork, we're denied insurance through my husband's job. The plan we had last year we may not be able to get either because of lack of funding. Our income is too large to qualify for any low-income programs. In January, I was told I could be facing cancer and now 2 months later, I am still trying to find a way to see an ENT and seek treatment.
Please continue to pray for me and my family during this difficult time.

I had an appointment with a surgeon last week. He ordered one more series of tests to rule out one last thing before we are looking at a cancer diagnosis.
Unfortunately, the Charity Care we have will not cover the specialist and I cannot go the next step. Please pray that God gives us an alternate option or complete healing. I am trying to keep focused on His promised and not these health problems.
I don't mind prayers but we have not told our daughters about the possibility of cancer so for now, we'd rather them not know until we have confirmation.

I ask that you please pray for my family. We are currently searching for jobs and are having no luck. My husband and I both are without jobs trying to raise a toddler and an infant. A friend's aunt has been diagnosed with lung cancer. She's the only source of income for her family. Husband had a stroke years ago causing him to be disabled. Son's kidneys are not functioning properly and is on dialysis three times per week.

Could you please pray for me and my daughter. My ex-husband is taking me to court on Monday, Nov 2nd at 9am. He says he is going to charge me with abandonment. I have been summoned. I have hired a lawyer, Laura Thompson. I can not attend due to being in Iraq. The military activated me and deployed me. My daughter is currently residing with my parents on Oak Island. During any military time she has always stayed there. 5 blocks away from my home also on Oak Island. WE are a very close family. Please pray that whatever the outcome is, it is the best for Sarah Zephier, my daughter. I have not abandoned her. I have left power of attorneys for my family to speak in my behalf. They have full access to my bank accounts to provide for her. I just wish my ex-husband would find compassion in his heart and realize the pain he is putting his daughter through. Thank you so much! Please pray for my family as we are facing challenges during difficult times. Also, I'm having my 4th surgery of this year on Tuesday at 7:45 am @ Brunswick Hospital. I've been ill for 9 months and this has been very hard on my family as well as on my physical body. I feel blessed as I'm remembering to seek ye first - His kingdom and know that all trials bring us closer in God if we chose to move in that direction, as well as to make us stronger and into the people God wants us to become.
I look forward to being back in worship, and attending small groups and celebrate recovery.

Lately ive found myself loosing comfort in myself, and appearance. I really need to get a good grasp on myself again and i need to stop letting these issues try to push me from God. I just pray for strength and whatever else you think i need for this situation. Also the mother and youngest daughter of the only distant family i have, has come down with the flu which has put both of them in the hospital. The last thing is for the work stress of my mother and health of my grandfather. Thank you, god bless.

I have come back to the Lord. It has been over 25 years since I've last walked with jesus. I've spent a lot of time and energy doing things my way with nothing but hardship to show for all my work. It took a series of nasty events to make me see this. The devil gave me blinders and I put them on and ran strait into trouble. Now my family is in trouble and the only thing that makes any sense is the faith in the Lord that i've spent most of my life denying it. It all started with a message from God which got me saved (thanks bob ) which just keeps guiding me along now. Every time I've asked for guidence he has sent me somebody to answer whether that person/s knows it or not. A couple of times I've tried to grab the wheel from God out of habit but I know in my heart that he will guide me along where he wants me if I just let him. It's been one month since I've been saved and God has done so much for me and I haven't asked for anything but to help my family get through all this mess. Cancer Fight

My husband was diagnosed with liver cancer on thursday and we are waiting for Duke to contact us and tell us what happens next. His mother was diagnosed a week before with uterine cancer and will have surgery on 8/21. We are not able to go see her in Maryland because we do not want her to know what is happening with us. One of our best friends is in NYC at Sloan fighting bone caner, he was diagnosed in May. And my husbands cousin was diagnosed in May with liver cancer. The pain and worry for everyone has been so hard. And now this disease has hit my husband, who is my best friend and it seems like it is so hard to stop crying. We both have prayed so hard for everyone and now ourselves, and we know that the power of pray can move mountains, and our life has truely always been blessed, it is hard to ask for prayer and we know the only way to make it is to have a very strong prayer chain. Thank you so much.

Car Wreck Tragedy

I have a friend named Lindsey Hudson who was killed in a car wreck last night. Please keep her family in your prayers. Her younger brother was also in the car, but praise God he was not hurt badly. She was only 27 with a lot of life to live.

Here is an email from our friends, Yesupadem & Monika with Love-N-Care ministries. They are working in Germany currently, and this is a prayer request (and praise) from them....

"Dearest Family and Friends!

In 2 hours our long awaited REVIVAL GERMANY meetings will begin...Sunday 31st at 7pm, as well as Monday and Tuesday! Please soak these 3 days with your prayers and cries for the broken hearted and the lost, for believers and unbelievers alike, that God's presence and power would touch their lives and that they would never be the same-and they in turn would go and turn the cities upside down!

Our picnic at the train station was amazing...punk rockers, homeless, alcoholics, Satanists, etc all ate our hotdogs and finger foods, and many opened their hearts to us and shared their broken lives! They were so blessed that we cared for them, not just to feed them but to ask how they are doing and pray for them. One ladies response...'I feel all warm inside, what did you do to me'?!

I have to run, but we covet your prayers for these coming days...

The Mosley Family

Please keep the Mosley family in your prayers. Their teenage son died in a car accident yesterday (5-7-09). He was a senior at West Brunswick. Another boy is in critical condition, but the other 3 were able to walk away.

Also, Rich's grandfather was just diagnosed with lung cancer. They do not know the specifics yet, but need wisdom on how to precede. (how much treatment, etc.)

Son's Health

Prayer for God's Will

I've been coming to Generations since September and in the last 3 months, the Lord has laid it on my heart that I need to start going to Generations full-time. This would include leaving the church I am currently at. I'm only 17 and the church I'm currently in is the same church I've been in all my life, all my family attend there, and my closest friends attend the other church. Despite the fact that I've been struggling with the idea of leaving my home church, I know it's something I must do in order to stay in God's will. I need prayer for when I finally tell my parents. I need prayer that they would be understanding and know that I'm leaving because I feel that it is God's will for me to move. I also need prayer to know when it is the right time to finally tell them and the right time to make the final move.

Prayer for courage and strength

My mother, Betty Huffman, is being evaluated for open heart surgery this coming week. Her heart is very weak and may not be strong enough to withstand the surgery. We are in Greenville, SC this week to be with her. Please help us pray for God's strength and courage to be with her and with all of our family. God has already moved in mighty ways and we are trusting His will. My mother is a woman of extreme faith and truly knows that God is in control. Thanks for your prayers.

Battle with Breast Cancer

For our daughter, Jennifer who's been suffering

with breast cancer for 3 years now, and all the

chemos, radiation, and surgery to go with it. She

has been on a rough chemo this round with fevers,

and extreme fatigue. We (Diana and I) took her to

the hospital thurs and fri and all blood counts

very critical. They gave her blood and platelets

and the doctor has now discussed hospice with us.

If her bone marrow cannot keep up what chemo is

destroying, then she cant get anymore, and her

cancer markers are doubling every month.

Uncle's Health

Please pray for my Uncle Art, he was taken to the hospital this morning for seizures. We think it was due to some medication that he was taking for strokes he suffered from over the past year. Also pray for my Aunt Annis for God to give her strength and confort, I know it is hard for her. They are in their 70's, and have been Christians for many years.

Boys in Haiti

Could you be in prayer for Dave who is an orphan in Haiti. He and another orphan boy had a huge metal door fall on them just after Stephen and Gloria Spillers left the orphanage. Pastor Willio took them to a clinic in the Dominican Republic for treatment which consisted of washing out the deep gashes on their heads in a shower and then stiching them up without any anesthesia. Both boys had several deep gashes on their heads. The doctor who attended them would not let any other outside doctors examine them so Pastor Willio has taken them back to the orphanage so he could arrange transport to a better facility and now there is a political uprising in the city which prevents them from leaving the orphanage. Stephen and Gloria had to detour around a town where there was rioting and the road was blocked by fires and trees pulled across the road. Dave is in need of good medical care. He was running a fever and I don't even know if they have antibiotics. They have no resources and need prayer that God will intervene to get them the needed care. Could you please forward this to others so they can pray also. It is heart breaking and we all feel so helpless. They need a miracle. Thanks,

Tomorrow, Friday November 17th, around 30 different Hindu organizations including the main ones (BJP, RSS-militant right wing, and Bajarang Dal-the main one doing the persecution these days), a total of 360 of their main leaders, are meeting FOR 3 DAYS NATIONAL CONFERENCE IN OUR CITY, VISAKHAPATNAM (first time in history in our city) and on their agenda is to discuss the persecution. This was posted in our local newspaper today.

They had one of these same meetings in ORISSA, JUST BEFORE THE PERSECUTION BROKE OUT THERE IN AUGUST!

Prayer for wisdom

February 2007 gave a new meaning to surrender as my fiance walked out after us finding out I was two months pregnant. This left me the best option ever; to lay my sin and fear at the feet of our Lord, ask for forgiveness, repent, and surrender. Previous to that relationship I had been engaged for eight years and had two children with him and the relationship fell as I continued my walk seeking the Lord. So two relationships and three children later I have given the Lord complete control of my life, but savings are now running out and I am unemployed and have been since having the baby who will be one tomorrow, and I need your prayers. I know god's plans are perfect so I ask only for wisdom of His will for our family. Thank you so for taking the time to pray for us, it is ever so appreciated. Many blessings to you all.
