Please pray for Alex O'Leary - 2 weeks old was placed back in the hospital due to unknown infection. Parents are Jill and Scott O'Leary. Alex was a preemie and on a heart monitor.
The simplest explanation is that it is talking with God. More specifically, intercessory prayer is talking with God about the needs of other people. In the Bible, Jesus Christ is our intercessor and our mediator. When Jesus died on the cross, He broke down the wall of separation between us and God. Jesus became the way through which we approach God. Once we place our faith in Christ (John 3:16, Romans 6:23), we have the assurance that God will hear our prayers.
Every Tuesday morning the church staff prays over all the prayer requests that come our way. In addition, each Sunday morning during our 9:00 worship celebration, a prayer group prays over the requests received the previous week. So, whether you attend Generations Church or are not currently attending any church, we would love to pray for you!
